Nitrifier Pro is formulated with an ultra-concentrated blend of heterotrophic and autotrophic bacteria, vital components for rapidly restoring nitrification. The heterotrophic bacteria utilize both carbon and nitrogen, completing the first step in ammonia removal. Following this, autotrophic strains, namely Nitrospora, Nitrosomas, Nitrospira, and Nitrobacter, engage to oxidize ammonia and nitrites, completing the process.

Typically, the recovery period for nitrifying bacteria spans at least 30 days.
